Thach Tran, Fruit Ninja is a chef and hospitality consultant from Saigon, Vietnam who has called Denver home since 1999. A member of the American Culinary Foundation and a 2010 graduate of Denver’s Johnson & Wales Culinary Management program, Chef Tran has received local and national recognition for his culinary skills and work with charitable causes.

He is currently the executive chef at Ace Eat Serve as well as part of the Energy Bar ownership team.

His hobbies include gardening, raising chickens, woodworking, beekeeping, snowboarding, and exploring both traditional and exotic culinary traditions and techniques.

Dustin Tran, Bean Counter is an enterpreneur and hospitality professional from Grand Forks, North Dakota who has lived in the Denver area since 2008. His career has spanned a wide variety of industries over the last 25 years; radio and television production, boutique computer hardware and software, barista, bartender, manager, and founder of multiple successful ventures across industries and platforms from podcasting to business services to event bartending.

Tran brings an obsession with the perfect cup of coffee, a passion for human connection through service, and a talent for combining creative flavors to his work as the other part of the Energy Bar ownership team.

His hobbies include skiing, baseball, disc golf, music, and, along with husband Thach, caring for a menagerie that includes two dogs, two tortoises, four chickens, a dozen houseplants, and roughly 10,000 bees.
